Aim:
Today the preservation of architectural heritage occupies a considerable place in many countries especially due to the presence of dynamic phenomena and forces acting on them. So both a careful study of the structure, the application of non-destructive techniques and the dynamic identification assume significant importance for a correct assessment and design of rehabilitation techniques and risk mitigation interventions. A non-destructive evaluation is very important in the case of architectural heritage avoiding heavy interventions in structures that often have suffered many changes in the time.
Topics:
Prospective authors are encouraged to submit their work related, but not limited to, the following topics:
- non-destructive tests
- evaluation of the existing damage of structures
- in-situ monitoring of existing structures
- vulnerability assessmentof historical structures
- evolutive stage of cracks and injuries in ancient building
- retrofitsystems and techniques
