Aim:
The special session would target high quality papers from the researchers working in the area of statistical modeling and optimization of machining methods as well as the surface integrity aspects in machining.
Topics:
Prospective authors are encouraged to submit their work related, but not limited to, the following topics:
1. Conventional and Non-Conventional Machining Methods
2. Statistical optimization of machining methods
3. Design of Experiments in Machining
4. Mathematical modeling, simulation
5. Surface topography of the machined surface
6. Surface characterization
7. Machining of Advanced Materials (Composites, Carbides, Aerospace alloys)
8. Surface integrity issues (Cracks, Recast layer, HAZ, Fatigue)
